VIEGA PRESS IN CONNECTOR TOOL KIT
The Megapress press-in branch connector is suitable for thick-walled steel pipes. The press-in branch connector generates a threaded connection in pipelines. It is particularly suitable for confined spaces, e.g. manifold installations for sensors, thermometers, or drains. The press-in branch connector is not suitable for use in drinking water installations. For this reason, press-in branch connectors are labelled with a black symbol “Not drinking water”. It is not permitted to use the press-in branch connector for fuel gases pursuant to DVGW Worksheet G 260 or in connection with Prestabo system components.

Specifications:
For mounting the press-in branch connector, you need the following machines:
• Power drill / hammer drill
• Press machine
• Suction device, e.g. vacuum cleaner
• Marking pen
• Ring or fork spanner, 27 mm
• Ring or fork spanner, 32 mm
• Screwdriver
• Wire brush
• Sanding paper (grade 180)
• If applicable, pipe pliers
The drills must meet the following minimum specifications:
1. Rated input: ≥ 600 Watt
2. Drilling speed max.: 1200 U/min
3. Chuck: SDS-plus or hexagonal drive adapter
4. Impact function: Disabling the impact function must be possible
5. Friction clutch: The machine must have a friction clutch
