Broughton Plant Hire & Sales are proud to sponsor ShowerBox. This incredible project was developed by Sarah Lamptey, a volunteer for various homeless organisations. ShowerBox provides safe shower facilities to the homeless. Being powerless to maintain personal hygiene affects mental and physical well-being which also affects the confidence required to create change. It will also help prevent the spread of preventable and debilitating diseases.
ShowerBox was first stationed at a hostel in Tottenham Court Road for the Christmas period and is now moving to a shelter in Hornsey for 12 weeks.
We would like to wish Sarah Lamptey and ShowerBox every success for the future.
